Meg is a super soft brown and white tabby with a classically round face. She was left behind by her owners when they moved off the island. Now Meg wants a safe quiet place to call her own. Meg is on the shy side and she would do best in a home with adults.

Clare's person had to go to the nursing home so Clare is with VIPP waiting for a brand new person to scoop her up. Clare is a cuddle bunny who loves nothing better than to be picked up and cuddled. Mary is a very sweet & gentle young girl who loves affection & gets along with the other Vipp feline housemates awaiting adoption.

Orange and white long hair female. 7 years old. Hero is as nice as she is beautiful. She lived with her brother, Bear, other cats, dogs and children as an inside/outside kitty. Hero is quiet and loving.

Obsidian is a big shy fluff of fur. He is recovering from the trauma of being left behind when his owner passed away. He will need a home that can give him special love and patience as he settles in.

Carmel is a shy but sweet piece of candy who gets along with other cats. He would do well in a quiet home with older kids and adults. He sure is happy that he was rescued by VIPP.

Pesto is a 6 1/2 year old Lynx Point Siamese male. He would do best being the only cat in the house as he has a tendency to be territorial. He would be great with older kids and adults. Pesto is quite a helpful cat, here he is on the top rung of the ladder. He was "working" with us as we painted the living room. He just loves to help! Gardening is another one of his specialties.

DANDY was found at the Country Store, where she's been hanging around fo the last two months. She's only 18mos old, very shy and needs one-on-one attention so she can learn to trust people. She gets along with other cats.

Scooter was found on Monument Rd. in January. He's a relaxed, affectionate fellow who likes people and cats equally. He tested positive for FIV (neg. to FEL), but he's healthy and should have many good years as an ideal companion.

Rc can be a shy guy but he warms up and is a sweetheart. An appointment needs to be made to meet Rc.

Nicholas is very shy and will need time to feel safe in his new surroundings. It is quite possible that if one had a loving quiet home and was willing to offer kindness and patience - Nicholas would be the perfect kitty. He gets along with other cats and loves to look out the window and day dream. An appointment needs to be made to see Nicholas.

“I want just the laps Maam, just the laps.” You might remember Sergeant Joe Friday’s regular request for “Just the facts Maam” on the old TV show Dragnet. For Deputy Tim, the request is “just the laps.” Tim is one of those cats who would love nothing better than nestling on a warm lap next to the fire or in front of the TV. Tim is a medium hair Siamese mix with a mellow personality. He is a cat who gets along with anyone and everyone. If you have the laps Maam or Sir, Tim is interested in you.

Okay, I had such a bad case of an upper respiratory infection that it got me the name Snuff Daddy. I guess I should be lucky that I wasn't named Snot Daddy. Anyway, I am feeling much better and my coat is looking good. I continue to improve with all the great care that VIPP has provided since landing here after my owner died. I am on the lookout for new digs with friendly humans. Let me know what ya got.

Chips was found wondering Maury Island starving for food. She was only 5 lbs. when she was turned into VIPP. She is still shell shocked by her experience and although she wants to be petted, she is still uncertain of humans. She is best suited for adults who understand her special personality.

Lindy is a very sweet and affectionate cat who prefers humans to other felines. A single cat household without children would be best for her, although she presently resides with other VIPP felines all awaiting their perfect guardian. She copes by finding a safe & quiet place away from the other housemates.

WC was left behind years ago when his people moved away. He had been hanging around the old neighborhood where nice people had been feeding him before being brought to VIPP. WC would love an indoor home and some TLC.

Ishtar is a 2 year old spayed female. She came to VIPP in a family way. She had her kittens and cared for them until they were all adopted. She took her role as mother and protector very seriously. Now that her nest is empty, Ishtar is relishing her new role as a carefree cat. But she needs a home of her own. She likes people but shows affection on her terms. How cat of her.

Muffin and Cupcake are brother and sister. They have lived all their sweet lives together with their person who is elderly and can no longer care for them. They are in a foster home where they get lots of love and attention. Muffin is a love machine and never misses an opportunity to be held and petted. His sister Cupcake is a gentle soul who is shy and still sad about being away from her former owner. They would be great pets in a quiet home with adults who can be patient with Cupcake while she rebuilds her trust.

Lois is a beautiful, incredibly smart and an active cat. She is ever loyal & will follow you around the house when not relaxing in a soft & cozy spot. Lois has been with one person since she was rescued as a kitten. She is not used to young children or dogs, but would be fine with other cats as she tends to keep to herself.
