Tuxi is a diminutive little girl with a sweet disposition. Tuxi was one of many cats from one household taken in by VIPP when their person died suddenly in December of 2007. She was quickly adopted with one of her buddies in 2008. After two years in her new home, it was clear that she had a hard time living with the family toddler. She would often hide away from the action and the family knew that she was unhappy. Tuxi is great with taller humans but she would prefer a quieter house with a warm lap or two. Tuxi is used to being indoors so she would make a great house cat. Date of Reentry 2/8/10

HEIDI: eight year old girl with silky black fur and stunning cream undercoat. She's declawed, is very shy and gentle; loves to be petted and stroked and loves to play, but she's not much for cuddling; ideal companion for an equally self-contained human.
I’m a spirited kitty who will talk to you as I follow you around. I love cuddling with you in your lap and being the center of your undivided attention. That said, however, I will tolerate a dog and even another cat or two – as long as I’m the boss. I’d prefer to be the only feline in the house, but I could get along with another cat if I can have part of the house as my own mini-kingdom. I’ve been the reigning queen in the kitchen before and that has suited me fine. My current human is moving to a smaller house and already has 6 kitties and a dog (not counting me). Too many for my taste! I’m used to being an indoor kitty in the winter and an indoor/outdoor one in the spring and summer. So, I could go either way. I’m looking for a human I can consider an equal for lots of petting and purring and a little conversation.
