THE SPARKLIEST FUR BALL EVER! A shining star on Vashon for 30 years! NOV 8TH - Open Space for Arts and Community, 5-9PM. The Fur Ball is VIPP's Biggest Fundraiser of the Year - money raised at this event covers 1/2 of our operating costs for a year. Put on something that sparkles and plan to have a lot of fun. Tickets at Brown Paper Tickets and at the following Vashon locations: Fair Isle Animal Clinic, Pandora's Box, Island Lumber & Home & Vashon Book Store. The prices are: Until Nov 4th - $55 or 2 for $100 - After Nov 4th - $60 or 2 for $110. We sold out last year so buy early!

VIPP has been asked to establish an angel fund to help defray Hoss's veterinary expenses of over $4000. (You can read his whole story on VIPP's FaceBook Page) In order to donate to this fund, please go, click on donations and then click on angel fund.

Micro-Chip your pet for $10 now! For a limited time Fair Isle animal clinic and VIPP are running a great special. Get a mico-chip (normally $50) for $10 bucks! Keep your pet safe - it is the best way to be reunited with your pet if they are lost and that is so important, especially during an Island emergency. VIPP is an organization that is dedicated to being the best companion animal resource, on Vashon Island. We count on you for current information, and love to hear from the community. We would like to include you in our programs and keep you informed of the latest on all things cats and dogs. Please sign up for our mailing list to stay on top of all VIPP events as well as be the first to know if there are any Island wide medical emergencies that could effect your pets, like the Leptospirosis bacteria that infected so many dogs on on Vashon a few summers ago and the major pet food recalls.
