Name : Selena

Breed: DSH Siamese

Sex: Female

Age: DOB 2008

Hi! My name is Selena. I am a 10-year old Siamese. I’ve lived on Vashon Island my whole life. My family has to move to Arizona and as much as I’d like to relocate with my family, my heart and roots are on Vashon.

I’m very easy-going. I enjoy playing with kids, fellow cats, and even dogs, (assuming their canine instincts can be suppressed). However, I prefer to engage socially on my terms. I’ll come to you when I’m ready to socialize, otherwise I keep to myself.

My typical day consists of my morning feeding of my favorite meal of Orijen Six Fish cat food. It supports my “Kat”ogenic, high protein diet. Then I’ll take a stroll around the house and find a place on the deck where the sun is shining to do a little sun worshipping. Because I have access to the indoors and outdoors through a cat door that my collar allows me access, and only me, I can retreat to my home without pesky raccoons following me. They love to eat my food and then wash their paws in my water bowl. That’s very annoying. Otherwise, the rest of my day is spent enjoying the serenity of the island life.

I’m as simple as it gets. I’m hoping that my new family will be able to provide we with a similar lifestyle. But, in either case, I’m a Vashonite. As long as I’m on the “Island” I’ll be happy anywhere. To talk to VIPP about me email: cats@vipp.org
