Loki, a two-year old black Lab and Rottweiler mix, was adopted from VIPP this summer by Dan Schenk.  Dan is a familiar face as the Front End Director at Thriftway in the evenings.  He and Loki rapidly developed a strong, loving bond.  Their time together features off-leash training at Matsuda Farm and playing soccer with Loki’s 18” horse bell.  Although not food driven, Loki is obsessed with pluots, and will bark until Dan gives him a share!

Dan firmly believes that when looking for a pet, you should always adopt from a shelter and that pet adoption is a two-way street.  Both pet and guardian give and receive love, making life better for both!  Dan thanks VIPP and Amy Carey for bringing him and Loki together.
